Robert K. Mason, age 87, of Bridgeport, beloved husband of Eleanor Sebok Mason, passed away Monday, February 25, 2013, at Bridgeport Hospital. Robert was predeceased by his parents, Benjamin and Sarah Spicer Mason and sister Jean Przybylinski Hardt. He proudly served with the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a master mason and owner of Robert K. Mason Contractors. A wonderful cook,   Bob was a friend to many, a man with a heart, who loved life and did a good job. In addition to his wife of 62 years, Robert is survived by his loving children, Robert K. Mason Jr. and wife Elaine of Shelton, Patricia A. Mason of Bridgeport and Michael L. Mason and wife Dianne of Trumbull, three grandchildren, Maxwell P. Mason, Nicole M. Mason and Michael L. Mason Jr., sister-in-law, Joan Clark of Easton and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday at 10:00 am. from the Redgate – Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull and at 11:00 am. at First United Church of Christ, 717 Clinton Avenue, Bridgeport, with the Rev. Susan M. Pheil, Pastor, officiating. Interment with full Military Honors will follow in Park Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday, 4:00 – 8:00 pm.
