Robert T. McPadden, age 77 of Bridgeport died Friday, April 23, 2010 at the VA Medical Center in West Haven. Born in Bridgeport, he was the son of the late Arthur J. McPadden and Jane L. Halpin McPadden and father of the late Robert T. McPadden Jr. He graduated from Central High School Class of 1952 and was a U.S. Army Veteran serving during the Korean Conflict. Bob worked many years with McPadden's M&M Roofing and Siding Company. He was a softball player and coach with numerous teams in the Greater Bridgeport Region. He was an avid fisherman and long time N.R.A. member. Survivors include his four daughters, Mary McPadden, Kathleen Mercado and her husband Jose, Elizabeth Sibilio and her husband Richard, Jennifer Quintiliano and her husband Anthony, four brothers, Dr. Arthur J. McPadden Jr and his wife Carol, Raymond F. McPadden Sr. and his wife Norma, John T. McPadden and his wife Lynne, William J. McPadden and his wife Lillian, sister Rita Harrington and her husband Richard, two granddaughters, Corinne Valadares and Larissa Sibilio and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 9:15am from the Redgate-Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull and at 10:00am in St. Patrick's Church, Bridgeport with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment with full military honors will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call Tuesday 4-8pm in the funeral home.
