Robert P. Mizak of Trumbull, beloved husband of Donna A. (Bellavance) Mizak was called home on April 1, 2015.  The son of Andrew F. Mizak Jr. and Clara Thora (Jacobson) Mizak, Bob was born in Bridgeport and is survived by his wife of 52 years, Donna, two caring sons Karl R. Mizak and wife Ann of Trumbull and Richard J. Mizak and William Shelton of New York City, loving twin grandchildren Julia and Michael Mizak, brother Andrew F. Mizak III, and nephew James Mizak of  Bridgeport.  Also brother-in-laws Robert E. Bellavance and wife Dorothy, James A. Bellavance and wife Pamela, plus several nieces and nephews.  Bob is predeceased by his brother Charles Mizak. A funeral director for about ten years he served in the U.S. Army Graves Registration Unit in Korea and Japan, worked at Fable Funeral Home in Westport and Raymond Funeral Home in Norwalk. The family moved to Trumbull in 1965 and established Mizak Realtor's in 1967.  His wife Donna joined the boutique firm in 1971, which is now part of William Raveis Real Estate. Bob was a Scoutmaster at Middlebrook Elementary School, Vice President of the Greater Bridgeport Board of Realtors, Membership chairman of Pequonnock Yacht Club and a member and former President of the Trumbull Kiwanis Club where he was awarded the George F. Hixson 25 year service award. Bob enjoyed boating, off-shore fishing, traveling, and was a regular attendee of 7:30 mass at St. Theresa's.  Above all else, Bob enjoyed nothing more than the joy and camaraderie of spending time with friends. Service will be held at Redgate - Hennessy Funeral Home on Main Street and 4 Gorham Place in Trumbull.  Friends may greet the family Friday at 10:00 AM until 12:30 PM, the time of the service.  In lieu of flowers donation may be made to St. Theresa school fund or the Trumbull Seniors Association on Priscilla Place.  Interment will be at the convenience of the family at Lawncroft Cemetery in Fairfield.
