Robert Palumbo, age 76 of Fairfield passed away Monday, February 21, 2022 at Bridgeport Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Frances Michaud Palumbo. Born in Bridgeport he was the son of the late Francis and Lucille Pavia Palumbo. Bob was a graduate of Bullard Havens Technical High School, a self-employed builder and will be remembered as a man who could fix anything. In addition to his wife Fran, he is survived by his sons, Darren and Ryan Palumbo, grandchildren, Priscilla, Patrice and Paige, and his nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sisters and brothers, Claudia, Pamela, Pete and Frank.  Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11:00a.m., in Our Lady of the Assumption Parish Hall with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery, Fairfield. Friends may call Thursday morning 9:15 -10:15a.m., in Redgate - Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull.
