Robert H. Reddy, 87, of Trumbull, died Friday, April 12, 2013, at Bridgeport Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Janet A. Higgins Reddy. He was born in New Brunswick, N.J., and had been a Trumbull resident since 1959. Mr. Reddy received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Seton Hall University, majoring in English. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps, serving during World War II. He had a highly successful career as a sales representative for DuPont. He enjoyed flying radio-controlled model airplanes and keeping up to date on his hobby through organizations and periodicals. Survivors in addition to his wife, Janet, include three daughters, Susan Mucherino and her husband, Kenneth, of Monroe, Margaret Dupnik and her husband, John, of Shaftsbury, Vt., and Mary Davidow and her husband, Bernard, of Longmeadow, Mass.; eight grandchildren, Christine (Paul) Laedke, Erin (Domenic) Cusanelli, Kathryn Dupnik, Ben (Barbara) Dupnik, and Michael, Linda, Janet and Elizabeth Davidow; six great-grandchildren, Amber, Amanda, Sofia, Joseph, Jack and Evelyn; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, John H. Reddy. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. in St. Theresa Church, 5301 Main St., Trumbull, with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment with full military honors will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull.
