Robert M. Russo age 55, a long time Fairfield resident died Friday, September 26, 2008 in his home. He was the beloved husband, best friend, and childhood sweetheart of Joyce M. Piccini Russo and son of Frank Russo and the late Mary Cerino Russo. Born in Bridgeport, he will be remembered for his devotion to his family and his passion for his work. Bob was a partner in Russo and Sons Builders with his father, Frank and brother, Al. He enjoyed skiing and car racing with his family. Survivors in addition to his wife and father include his loving children, son Michael R. Russo and his wife Tracy of Trumbull, daughter Jill M. Russo of Huntington, his grandson and joy, Dylan Russo, brother Alan Russo and his wife Sally of Milford, sister-in-law Barbara Mazzucco and her husband Joseph of Milford, nieces Anne Russo, Ashley Ferri and nephews Mark Russo, Joey Mazzucco. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10:00am directly in Holy Family Church, Fairfield with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Lawncroft Cemetery.
