Roger H. Metcalf of Monroe and formerly Redding died suddenly Saturday, November 8, 2008 at home. He was the beloved husband of 49 years to Ann D'Agostino Metcalf. Mr. Metcalf was born in Bridgeport and was the son of the Harvey and Victoria Metcalf. He was a mechanic and the former owner of Yard Services lawn care. Mr. Metcalf was a U.S. Naval Veteran. In addition to his wife he is survived by his children Lori and Tim Rice of Bethel, Lynn and Mike Mudry of Goshen, Leslie and Tim Germain of Milford, Stephen and Christine Metcalf of Ludlowe,VT , grandchildren, Danielle and Angel Rodriguez, Shannon Wrabel, Samantha, Rebecca and Sarah Mudry, Daniel and Tara Metcalf and Christopher Rice, great grandsons Elijah and Jaden, brother Howard Metcalf and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he is predeceased by his brother David Metcalf. Friends may greet his family Tuesday 4-8pm in the Redgate-Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull.
