Rosemary Quinn Barry, 85, of Southport, CT, died on Thursday, February 16th, 2012 at St. Vincent's Medical Center, Bridgeport, CT. Rosemary, one of five children of Dr. Raymond and Alice Freeman Quinn of Waterbury, CT was born on June 6, 1926. Rosemary was married to John Francis Barry Jr on September 10th, 1951 at St Francis Church in Waterbury CT. She was educated at Skidmore College and developed a life long interest in and talent for fashion design and interior decoration at Toby-Coburn Design School in New York City and the New York School of Interior Design. A long time resident of Greens Farms and Southport CT, Rosemary is survived by her husband John and her nine children; Morgan Morton of Calistoga, CA, John Barry of Riverside, CT, Christopher Barry of Yonkers, NY, Matthew Barry of Southport, CT, Rosemary Barry of Greens Farms, CT, Michael Barry of Southport, CT, Polly Barry of Southport, CT, Maura Grinalds of Southport, CT., and Deirdre Barry of New York, NY. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, a brother Raymond Quinn of Southbury, CT and many nieces and nephews.  She is predeceased by her sisters Ruth O'Neill and Lorraine Guyott and her brother John Quinn. A Memorial Mass in celebration of her life will take place on Saturday, February 25th at 10:30 am at St. Luke's Church, 49 Turkey Hill Road North, Westport, CT.
