Ruth Craw DeMott, age 88, of Bridgeport, beloved wife of the late Elwood G. DeMott, passed away Monday August 3, 2015, at St. Vincent's Medical Center. Ruth was the daughter of the late Roy and Elvera Swanson Craw. She was hired by General Electric in the accounting office after she graduated from Harding High school and retired in 1983 after a 39 year career.  Ruth then started a second career in the financial department for Hallbrook Hospital, Westport and retired in 1991. Survivors include her brother Robert R. Craw Sr. and wife Jane of Sebastian, FL, nephews and niece Daniel Craw and wife Michele, Thomas Craw and wife Karen, Aileen Madar and husband John, Martin Craw Jr. and wife Inga, Sheila Craw wife of her late nephew Robert R. Craw Jr.  Also several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and nephew, she was predeceased by a brother, Martin Craw Sr. and sister-in-law Lee Craw.  "Aunt Ruth" was a loving, caring and fiercely independent woman who always helped out with her love and support.  Funeral services will be held Saturday, at 10:00 a.m. in the Redgate – Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull.
