Ruth (Ruthie) Hills, beloved mother of Robert W. Hills, II and Carrie Hills passed away on June 9th at the age of 90. She is predeceased by her husband, Robert W. Hills, Sr. after 61 years of marriage. Ruth was born in Bridgeport. After graduating from Warren Harding High School, she attended secretarial college. Ruth had a long career with the City of Bridgeport, where she performed in a diversity of roles in varied divisions. Ruthie enjoyed cooking, gardening and decorating the beautiful home she shared with her treasured husband. Funeral services will be held Monday at 10:00 am in the Redgate – Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull. Interment will follow in Lawncroft Cemetery, Fairfield. Friends may call Sunday 2:00pm – 5:00pm in the funeral home.
