Ruth G. Sirois Lyons, age 90 of Fairfield died Friday April 6, 2012 at Maefair Health Care in Trumbull. She was the beloved wife of the late Francis A. Lyons. Born in Caribou, ME she lived in the Bridgeport-Fairfield area since 1939. Ruth enjoyed cooking, and spending time with her bowling and Rosary groups. She is survived by her children, Dana Lyons and wife, Janice of Danbury, Dennis Lyons of Fairfield, Darcy Cleary and husband, Todd of Timonium, MD, Dylan Lyons and wife Linda of Portland, OR, Darice Rahrig and husband Tom of Madison, Dineen Lyons of Fairfield, her twin sister Rita Langdon of Fairfield, three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband she was predeceased by her children, Duane and Denise Lyons, brother Ralph Sirois and sister Carolyn Walsh. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:00am meeting directly at St. Emery Church, Fairfield with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery, Stratford.
