Sally Kerrigan Gerrity, age 79 passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at Gardner Heights, in Shelton.  Sally was born in Bridgeport on June 29th, 1937 to the late George and Alice English Kerrigan.  In her lifetime she was a resident of Bridgeport, Trumbull, Derby and Woodbridge.  She was a graduate of Lauralton Hall, class of 1955, received her Travel Agent Certificate from Fairfield University and enjoyed many years in the travel business before her retirement. Sally was a parishioner of St. Catherine of Siena Church, Trumbull, prior to moving to Derby and later Our Lady of Assumption, Woodbridge.  Survivors include her devoted children; Shannon Gerrity, Brian Gerrity, James Gerrity, his fiancee Alex Smith, Glen Gerrity, his wife Dawn and their father Roger Gerrity and sister in-law, Dawn Ann Gerrity.  She also leaves behind five grandchildren; Mackenzie, Cameron, Madelyn, Logan, Jacob, two step grandchildren, Connor and Kyra Angileri and many beloved friends. Funeral services will be held Monday at 11:00a.m., meeting directly in St. Catherine of Siena Church, 220 Shelton Road, Trumbull, with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be private.
