Sandra McBride of Trumbull passed away Wednesday, August 2, 2017 in her home. She was born September 21, 1946 and  was the daughter of Andrew and Julia Peabody, and sister of Andrea Peabody of Yonkers, New York. She graduated from Lincoln High School in 1964 and worked for Merrill Lynch, General Electric and Pegasus Therapeutic Riding where she helped operate a non-profit for people with special needs until her retirement in 2006. She was married for a brief time but cared for her only son, James Edward McBride, with unconditional love and kindness for the rest of her life. Private services were held.
