IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Sean Patrick
Kane
November 26, 1970 – August 15, 2024
Sean Patrick Kane of Trumbull passed away on Thursday, August 15. Sean's life will be defined by a generous and free spirit that livened the lives of everyone he chose to surround himself with. Sean's circle was wide, encompassed by friends from Fairfield Prep (Class of 89), West Virginia University (Class of 93), and Brownson Country Club. His accomplishments ranged from serving as the Vice Chair of Goodwill W/N CT to proudly holding the title of lifelong Eagle Scout, hailing from Troop 89 in Fairfield, CT. Scouts mattered to him, and he was immensely proud of his three sons (Jack, George, and Charlie) who were all in the program from the age of six onwards. He knew who he was and used his gifts to help those around him, believing he owed much of his professional success to Fairfield Prep. Prep meant the world to Sean and integrally shaped his young adult life. It led to him serving as principal and founder of the aptly named "Company Kane" ad agency for the majority of his career, where he utilized his creative mind to further the interests of a variety of clients. Sean loved playing golf with friends, family, and anyone who wanted to have a good time. As president of Brownson CC he utilized his business sense to shape the place he loved for the better. His time at Brownson was when he could be the fullest version of himself; members will recall Fourth of July fireworks, club-wide parties and a laugh that could be heard from the seventh hole. He is survived by sons Jack, George, and Charlie, parents Michael and Diane, as well as siblings and spouses Maureen, Justin (Erin), Ryan (Meghan) and their children Emma, Regan, Henry, and Kevin. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11:00a.m., meeting directly in Holy Family Church, 700 Old Stratfield Road, Fairfield, with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be private. Friends may call Wednesday from 4:00p.m. to 7:00p.m., in the Redgate – Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and 4 Gorham Place, Trumbull. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Goodwill or the Evans Scholars Foundation, a scholarship for golf caddies of which Jack and George are recipients.
