Sharyl A. Linderfelt Garrity, age 49 of Monroe passed away Thursday August 22, 2013 in her home. She was the beloved wife of Jon H. Garrity, daughter of Edward and Maureen Glennon Linderfelt and mother of Jonathon E. Garrity. Born in Bridgeport, Shari was a Monroe resident for the past 16 years. She was a graduate of Academy of Our Lady of Mercy, Lauralton Hall and received a Bachelor of Science degree from Pace University, Lubin School of Business.  She worked for 13 years as an advertising representative at the CT Post. She performed in numerous shows at the Downtown Cabaret Theatre and never lost her love for the arts.  Later in life, she taught jazz and tap dancing to senior citizens.
Her love for others was the driving force in her life.  She volunteered at numerous organizations to feed and clothe the homeless.  She will be remembered for her great parties, laughter and love for life.
In addition to her husband Jon, parents Ed and Maureen, and son Jonathon, she is survived by her aunt and uncle Robert and Margaret Glennon, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Peter Garrity and wife Karen, Gary Garrity and wife Terri, Robert Garrity, Maureen Albritton and husband Thomas, Debra Echler and husband Edward, and Mary Garrity, special friends Lisa and Strick Woods and John Boiano Jr. She was predeceased by her mother and father-in-law, Sarah and William Garrity and brother-in-law William Garrity Jr. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10:30a.m., meeting directly in St. Jude Church, 707 Monroe Turnpike, Monroe with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Monroe. Friends may call Monday 4p.m. to 8p.m., in the Redgate-Hennessy, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull.
