Sheila Curtiss Otis, age 72 of Shelton, beloved wife of the late Raymond Otis, died Wednesday, December 12, 2007 in Lord Chamberlain Health Care, Stratford. Mrs. Otis was born in Bridgeport daughter of the late Edward and Olga Vancura Curtiss, and was a former resident of Norwalk before moving to Huntington in 1986. She received her degree in Nursing from St. Vincent's School of Nursing, and was a registered nurse for St. Vincent's Medical Center, and later Northbridge Health Care. She an active volunteer at the Hospital, a parish nurse at St. Joseph's Church, and was a member of the Shelton Historical Society serving as Docent. Survivors include her devoted children Raymond Jaworowski of Woodbury, Michael Jaworowski and wife Sheila of Naugatuck, Lisa Jaworowski of California, Linda Mosel and husband Thomas of Ansonia, and Brian Jaworowski and wife Elizabeth of Southington, ten loving grandchildren, James Jaworowski , Stephen Pollard, Ian Pollard, David Jaworowski, Samantha, Michael, and Jason Mosel, Brian, Emma, and Grace Jaworowski. She was predeceased by a brother Charles E. Curtiss. Funeral services will be held Monday at 9:00 a.m. meeting directly in St. Joseph Church, 50 Fairmont Place, Shelton, with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Cutler's Farm Cemetery, Monroe. Friends may call Saturday from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the Redgate – Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull.
