SKSR Michael L. Perry, U.S. Navy, age 20, of Milford, beloved son of Lawrence and Deborah A. Schneider Perry, passed away October 20, 2007. Born in Bridgeport, Michael graduated from High Horizons Magnet School, Bridgeport and Jonathan Law High School, Milford. He joined the U.S. Navy on November 14, 2006 and was stationed at the Submarine Base in New London. Michael loved the outdoors, camping, especially with his family, fishing and times shared with his many friends. Survivors in addition to his beloved parents of Milford, include his loving brother and best friend Alex J. Perry of Milford, paternal grandfather, Arthur Perry Sr. of Stratford, maternal grandparents, George Schneider of Odenton, Maryland and Viola Schneider of Derby, his godparents, Arthur Perry Jr. of Autora, Ohio and Faith Rhodes of Prospect, several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his paternal grandmother, Betty Ann Perry. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. in the Redgate – Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull, with LCDR Leila Gomulka, U.S. Naval Chaplain, officiating. Interment will follow in Kings Highway Cemetery, Milford, with full military honors. Friends may call Thursday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
