Son Paek Yi, age 80, of Bridgeport, beloved husband of Chong Ye Yi, died, Monday, October 27, 2008, in his home. Born in Pyungan, Province of Korea, he has been a city resident twenty four years. Son Paek Yi was supervisor of shipping and receiving for the Qualtron Corp. In addition to his wife he is survived by four sons, Hae N. Yi of Huntington, Hae Y. Yi of Farmington, Hae W. Yi of Hamden and Hae C. Yi of Stratford, two daughters, Chung Suk Kim of Bridgeport and Chin Suk Cha of Weathersfield, twelve grandchildren and a great granddaughter. Funeral services will be held Friday, at 10:00 a.m.( family and friends gathering at 9:00 a.m. ) in the Redgate – Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull, with the Rev. Won – Geun Kang, officiating. Interment will follow in Spring Grove Cemetery, Darien. Friends may call Thursday, 6:00 – 10:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
