Stella Rose Poprocki, age 85 a resident of Monroe for 33 years passed away peacefully in her home Wednesday, October 15, 2008. She was the beloved wife of the late John James Poprocki. She is survived by three sons, Michael Poprocki, Karol J. Poprocki and John Poprocki Jr. all of Monroe, two brothers Steven and Joseph  Gnida of Bridgeport two sisters Roni Landry of Guilford and Helen Canavan of Bridgeport and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers Charlie and John Gnida. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:00am in the Redgate-Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull with Pastor Barry Fredericks of Grace Christian Fellowship officiating. Interment will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may greet her family (TODAY) Friday evening 5-8pm and Saturday morning 9-10am.
