Stephen R. Yadre, age 58 of Fairfield, beloved husband of Frances Forde Yadre, passed away Saturday, January 9, 2021, in Cambridge Manor, Fairfield. Stephen was born in Flushing, NY, on March 12, 1962, son of the late Mario and Julia Sillano Yadre. Survivors in addition to his beloved wife Frances include his devoted children; daughter Stephanie F. Yadre and son Christopher S. Yadre, both of Fairfield, a brother Kenneth Yadre of Florida, father-in-law Thomas Forde, brother-in-law Michael Forde and wife Janet, his nephew and Godson Aedan Forde. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his step-mother Bretta Merrins Yadre. He was a twenty-nine year resident of Fairfield and was an engineer for ESPN, Bristol. Stephen enjoyed music and played the drums all of his life; he loved to travel and enjoyed reading maps to plan weekend adventures.  Some of his favorite activities were spending time out doors with his family, taking photos, playing tennis, building sand castles and boogie boarding. Along with watching the NY Giants with his friends and family. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 9:30a.m., from the Redgate – Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull and at 10:30a.m., in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 545 Stratfield Road, Fairfield, with a Mass of Christian Burial, a mask is required. Interment will be private. Friends may call Wednesday from 4:00p.m. to 8:00p.m., in the funeral home. Visitors are asked to wear masks and social distance as they walk through, pay their respects, and exit in a timely manner to ensure all guests can come through the building.
