Susan M. Bivona, age 69 a resident of Trumbull for 38 years passed away on February 26, 2016 at St. Vincent's Medical Center. She was the beloved wife of Gregory Bivona for 46 years. They were married on June 21, 1969.  Born on September 29, 1946 in Newburgh, NY, Sue was the daughter of the late James and Margaret Klingman Meneely. Sue graduated from Mount St. Mary's Academy 1964 and from Mount Saint Mary's College, Newburgh, NY, with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English/Elementary Education. She received a Master's Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Bridgeport. Sue taught one year in Newburgh, NY and thirty three years in Beardsley School, Bridgeport before her retirement in 2001. She has been a longtime parishioner of St. Catherine of Siena Church, Trumbull, member of Brownson Country Club for 30 years, Captains Golf Course, Brewster, Mass., and Orleans Yacht Club, Orleans MA. She was also a former member of Trumbull Junior Women's Club, Fayerweather Yacht Club, NEA and BEA. In addition to her husband Gregory, she is survived by 21 cousins, and 12 nieces and nephews.
