Susan Graceffa Segen, age 84 of Trumbull died Monday, November 4, 2013 in her sleep at home after a long battle with COPD. She was the beloved wife of the late Edward D. Segen Sr. She was also predeceased by her granddaughter Stephanie Segen, her parents Gerlando and Antoinette Graceffa and sisters Louise Smith and Kina Spadaccini.   Susan is survived by her son Edward D. Segen and his wife Janet of Wilton, her daughter Sueann Segen and fiancé Richard Barrows of Trumbull, her grandchildren, Lauren and her husband Garrett Ferris, Carl and Eric Segen, sisters, Vivian Mobilio and Millie Monteria as well as many nieces and nephews. Susan was surrounded by many friends. She was a long standing member of Brooklawn Country Club, Trumbull Tennis Club and an avid water color artist and enjoyed sewing and crafting. She was a parishioner of St. Theresa Church. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10:15am from the Redgate-Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull and at 11:00am in St. Theresa Church with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may call Wednesday 4-8pm in the funeral home.
