Suzanne M. Kratky Carris, age 32, beloved wife of Christopher M. Carris, peacefully passed away on Saturday, September 20, 2008 in St. Vincent's Medical Center, while surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with lung cancer. She was born in Bridgeport and lived there until she moved to Monroe where she resided for 21 years. She graduated from Masuk High School, the class of 1993. She was employed at United Health Care formerly Oxford Health for 14 years as a data analyst. Suzanne was a loving wife and mother who dedicated her life to her family. She will be greatly missed by everyone. She was an avid reader and enjoyed writing short stories. Her main love was spending time with her family. She enjoyed arts and crafts and had a zest for life. She was a member of the Fairfield County Fish and Game Club. Suzanne is survived by her beloved husband Christopher M. Carris and her devoted daughter, Cynthia Marie Carris, her parents Maryann Meyernick Kratky and John Kratky, Jr., of Inverness, FL, a brother John Kratky III of Reno, NV, a sister Rachel Kratky Ungar and husband Adam of Thomaston, she also leaves behind her beloved cousin and good friend Melissa Kratky, a father-in-law Michael Carris and wife Janis of Monroe, three sisters-in-law, Jodie Ann Bondgiolotti and husband Richard of Bantam, Patricia Maillet and husband Paul of Monroe, Virginia Carris of Monroe, grandmother-in-law Janice Carris of Monroe, and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10:00 am meeting directly in St. Stephen Church, Trumbull with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Newtown.
