Thomas Joseph (T.J.) Hollern Jr., age 46, of Stratford, passed away Tuesday August 31, 2010, at St. Vincent's Medical Center. T.J. was born in Bridgeport, beloved son of Marion Pebley Hollern and the late Thomas J. Hollern Sr. He was a graduate of the Porter & Chester Institute, were he studied heating and air conditioning and was employed at Bridgeport Health Care Center in that field. A great cook, he was known for his sugar pie and chocolate fudge and loved watching movies. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his loving brother and sister, Robert K. Hollern and wife Sandra of Shelton and Rebecca L. Thorpe and husband Robert of West Haven; also several nieces and nephews. T.J.'s circle of friends was few, but lifelong and true, especially Marty Nargi. He also leaves his two canine companions, Tiffany and Pugsley. Friends and call Thursday, 4:00 – 8:00 pm., in the Redgate – Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull. All other services will be held in Buckstown, PA.
