Thomas P. Lyons, age 76, of Trumbull, passed away Tuesday, January 17, 2012, at Bridgeport Hospital. Born in Haverstraw, NY, to the late Thomas F. and Ethel M. Ward Lyons, he was also predeceased by a son, Christopher Lyons. Tom was a veteran of the Korean War, serving with the U.S. Marine Corp and a devoted Giants fan. He was a carpenter for M & M Roofing. Survivors include his beloved children, three sons, Thomas Lyons, Dan Lyons, both of Florida and Kevin Lyons of Norwalk, two daughters, Linda Sodervick of Florida and Barbara Roach of Seymour, a sister, Patricia Lyons Iacovelli of West Virginia, four grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He also leaves his former wife and dear friend, Barbara Clegg Lyons of Seymour and John McPadden, a true and lifelong friend of Trumbull. Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family in the Redgate – Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull.
