Umberto A. Misinonile, age 94 of Trumbull, passed away Sunday, December 10, 2023, in St. Joseph's Center, Trumbull. Umberto was born in Bridgeport, son of the late Salvatore and Jennie Pasquarello Misinonile, and was a longtime resident before moving to Trumbull He was an Army veteran, serving during the Korean War, and retired from Sikorsky Aircraft. Umberto had a talent for sketching, especially the parts and measurements of auto engines. He had a passion for classic cars, and visited the annual Classic Car Show at St. Joseph Manor with his son in law, Joseph. He enjoyed playing cards and pool. Survivors include two devoted daughters Stella Farina and husband Joseph and Joyce Kopac and husband Robert, all of Shelton, three cherished grandchildren Nicole Farina, Sarah Kopac (Craig Breitsprecher) and Lisa Kopac (Andrew McIntosh), two sisters Susan Piccirillo, and Helen Martinez, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three brothers Joseph, Alfred, and Louis Misinonile and two sisters Rose D'Archangelo, and Elvira Schallbruch. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11:00a.m., in the Redgate – Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull. Interment with full military honors will follow in Mountain Grove of Easton Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday from 5:00p.m. to 8:00p.m., in the funeral home.
