Vera B. Keating, age 83, of Bridgeport, beloved wife of Jack Keating, passed away Wednesday, August 4, 2010, at St. Vincent's Medical Center. Vera was born in Trumbull, daughter of the late Michael and Mary Mikulics. She was a graduate of the Danbury Teacher's College and taught elementary school for thirty years with the Trumbull School System. Vera was a charitable person and active with St. Andrew Church. She was an accomplished artist and an avid reader. She was predeceased by a sister, Helen Rogers and Spooky, her feline companion of 23 years. In addition to her husband Jack, she is survived by a brother, Michael Mikulics and his wife Marilyn of San Clememte, CA and several nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to attend her Memorial Mass on Monday at 11:00 am in St. Andrew Church. There will be no prior calling hours and interment is private.
