Verne Kerensky Fenick, age 93, died Friday, April 3, 2009, at St. Joseph's Manor, Trumbull. She was the beloved wife of 72 years of the late William Fenick and beloved mother of the late Robert William Fenick. Born in Bridgeport, she was one of five children. Employed by Dictaphone, Verne retired after 26 years of dedicated service. She was an active member of the Chestnut Hill Seniors, Fayerweather Yacht Club Auxillary and parishioner of St. Andrew Parish. She is survived by grandsons, William, Alderic and Mark, five great grandsons, daughter-in-law, Mary Beth Fenick, niece, Leslie Belval and nephews, Robert and Dennis Kerensky and their families. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 18th at 9:30 a.m. from the Redgate – Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull and at 10:00 a.m. in St. Andrew Church, with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may call Saturday morning, 8:30 – 9:30 a.m..
