Victor Pankracij, age 82 of Bridgeport, passed away suddenly Tuesday, October 20, 2009 in St. Vincent's Medical Center. Born in Postonia Trieste, Italy, to the late Bartolomio and Anna Paverlisak Pankracij, he resided most of his life in Bridgeport. Victor was a retiree of the Fairfield School System in the custodial department. Survivors include his former wife and friend Anna Pankracij of Bridgeport; a son William Pankracij and wife Karen of Trumbull; two daughters Sabina Wilson and husband George and Maryann Mastri and husband Dominick all of Bridgeport; four grandchildren Matthew Pankracij, Christopher Pankracij, Vanessa Rosado and husband Jesus, and Stephanie Mastri; two great granddaughters Alyssa and Arianna Rosado; and by family living in Italy. Funeral services will be held Friday at 12:00pm in the Redgate – Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull. Interment will be private and at convenience of the family.
