Vincent J. Zukauskas, age 93 of Trumbull died Thursday, May 13, 2010 at St. Joseph's Manor, Trumbull. He was the beloved husband of the late Mary Pistey Zukauskas and brother of the late Anthony Zuke. Born in Bridgeport he had been a Trumbull resident since 1953. Mr. Zukauskas was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II and was retired from Allied Stores. He was active in the St. Theresa Church Seniors and the Chestnut Hill Seniors, a member of the AARP Trumbull #958 and an usher at St. Theresa Church. He was a fan of UCONN Huskies basketball. Survivors include his three sons, Vincent R. Zukauskas of Trumbull, Douglas M. Zukauskas and his wife Hui of Manassas, VA and John R. Zukauskas of Trumbull, granddaughter Cassie Marie Zukauskas of Trumbull, brother Frank Pocius and his wife Rose of North Haven, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Monday at 8:45am from the Redgate-Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull and at 9:30am in St. Theresa Church, 5301 Main Street, Trumbull with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may call Sunday 2-6pm.
