Virginia Fagan Rockwell, age 89 of Fairfield died Friday September 12, 2008. She was the beloved wife of the late Sidney D. Rockwell. Born in Bridgeport to Edward and Christine Mulvey Fagan she was a graduate of Central High School. A long time Fairfield resident and a communicant of Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Mrs. Rockwell was the office manager for Parrot Real Estate and later employed by the Fairfield Store. She is survived by her son, Sidney D. Rockwell and his wife Lynda and granddaughter Jessica of Sandy Hook, a son John Rockwell and his wife Atsuko and granddaughter Julia of Fairfield. She was predeceased by her son Brian and granddaughter Tamarin. Graveside services will be held Monday, September 15, 2008  at 10:30am in St. Michael's Cemetery, Stratford.
