Walter A. Myslewski Sr., age 82, of Bridgeport, beloved husband of Jacqueline Somers Myslewski, passed away Wednesday, August 15, 2012, at Bridgeport Hospital. A man of a gentle spirit and generous heart. Walter was born in Bridgeport, son of the late Adolph and Adeline Brzozowski Mislewski. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War and retired after 22 years of service as patrolman for the Bridgeport Police Department. Walter was a member of the Bridgeport Police Benevolent Association. Survivors in addition to his beloved wife of 61 years, include his three children to whom he was a great father, son; Walter A. Myslewski Jr. and Darlene of Milford, two daughters; Judi Marella and husband Tommy of Trumbull, and Patty Galpin and husband John of Bethany, six grandchildren; Katelyn, David, Caryn, Lindsay, Matthew and Sean, and several nieces and nephews. Private funeral services will be held, Saturday in the Redgate – Hennessy Funeral Home, Trumbull. Interment will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
