Walter J. Rynkiewicz, age 83, formerly of Heritage Village, Southbury, passed away Monday, December 10, 2012. He was the beloved husband of the late Josephine and Laura Rynkiewicz. Walter was born in Bridgeport, son of the late Adam and Anna Rynkiewicz. He was a retired electrician for United Illuminating and a World War II Army Air Corp Veteran. Walter was a former Trumbull resident and enjoyed living at Heritage Village for 20 years. He was active with the Southbury Seniors, golfing and bowling. Survivors include his loving daughter, Denise Rynkiewicz of Waterbury and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three brothers, Adam, John and Alexander Rynkiewicz and two sisters, Helen Serbyn and Jean Mierzejewski. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11:00 am in the Redgate – Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull. Interment will follow in Mountain Grove of Easton Cemetery.
