William H. Plude, age 82, a lifelong Bridgeport resident passed away Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at St. Vincent's Medical Center. He was the devoted husband of Arlene Lynch Plude. Mr. Plude was a custodian who had retired from the Bridgeport School System and was a U.S. Navy Veteran serving after World War II. He was an avid woodworker and landscaper and loved to travel. In addition to his wife Arlene, he is survived by four loving sons, Michael Plude and his wife Pamela, Donald Plude and his wife Setsuko, Kevin Plude and his wife Dee, and Douglas Plude and his wife Diane, his brother Robert Plude, ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
