William L. Stevens Jr., age 81, of Bridgeport, died Wednesday, November 12, 2008, at St. Vincent's Medical Center. A lifelong Bridgeport resident, he was the son of the late William L. Sr. and Clara Mickelson Stevens. Mr. Stevens was a graduate of Bassick High School and a retired letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service. He enjoyed playing pool, classical music and the New York Yankees. He leaves several cousins and special friends, Anthony M. and Betty Cimmino of Trumbull. Funeral services will be held Monday, at 9:15 a.m. from the Redgate – Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull and at 10:00 a.m. in St. Andrew Church, with a Mass of Christian Burial.
