Aimee Leigh Larson

Aimee Larson, 40, daughter of Lauren and William Summers. Sr. passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, November 10, 2022. She was employed as an Associate Director and Business Development Manager in the healthcare industry for the last several years, most recently with Comfort Caregivers of Milford Connecticut. In addition to that role Aimee also worked in the hospitality industry for the last 20 years. People brought her joy and she managed to see the good in everyone.

Aimee was the most beautiful soul who was fiercely loyal, loved life, had the most contagious laugh and graced the world with everlasting positivity. Aimee embraced her Irish heritage, her family and more than anything her son Shawn Tyler. Aimee’s true passion was travel which she did often with Shawn. They shared many trips and adventures and created memories that will be cherished for a lifetime. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. 

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her beloved son Shawn Tyler Stramski and his father Jason, her brothers William Summers, Jr. and Justin Patrick Summers, her maternal aunts Kellye Daniels, Jaime Daniels, and Karyn Wade, several cousins and many friends that she considered family.

Aimee was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Janet and Lowell Daniels, Sr., her maternal uncles Lowell, Jr. and Michael Daniels and her cousin Lisa Spinazzola. Calling hours for Aimee will be Wednesday, November  16, 2022 from 4-7pm at the Redgate - Hennessy Funeral Home in Trumbull CT with a prayer service at 6PM. Additionally, a celebration of her life will be planned for her in the springtime, her favorite time of year.
