Gail (Gilmore) Poklemba, 86, passed away on Wednesday, February 9, 2022, surrounded by her three daughters. She was the beloved wife of the late Rudolph Poklemba. Born in Bridgeport on October 13, 1935, Gail was the daughter of the late William and Gertrude (Johnston) Gilmore. Gail was a resident of Trumbull for over 60 years. She was an active member of the community, involved in the town’s Republican Party, the Trumbull Women’s Club, as well as being an active member of the LHFD Ladies Auxiliary for over 50 years. Education was a priority to Gail and she supported her daughters’ schools by serving as a room mother, a PTA member and as a band parent at THS. Always up for a good adventure, Gail loved organizing events and trips. She spent her working career in banking as a customer service representative. Upon retiring, she first worked at the Trumbull Senior Center and then continued as a volunteer at the main desk and wherever she was needed. Gail was also a weekly volunteer at the food pantry. Gail was an amazing cook and baker.  She was creative and shared her many talents with so many throughout her life. Most of all, Gail will be remembered as an amazing and doting Mom, Grandmother and Gigi. Family was her biggest achievement and love.
