James Campbell

James Campbell, age 85 of Trumbull, passed away peacefully, January 10, 2021 with his beloved wife Irene by his side, as she always was. Jim was born in Bridgeport, son of the late Colin and Helen Doyle Campbell and after high school served his country in the Army. He was met with an unfortunate accident in 1979 that left him paralyzed from the waist down. Even with this disability he found a job and worked at Suma Graphics in Fairfield, until the company moved down south. Jim is survived by his wife Irene Knapp Campbell, daughters Bonnie Fussell (Jack), and Judy Brauer (Peter), grandson Steven Brauer, brothers Tom Campbell (Gail), and Robert Campbell (Irene), and several nieces and nephews He was predeceased by his grandsons Kyle Palmer and Daniel Brauer, a sister Jean McNamara. Friends may call Friday from 3:00p.m. to 5:00p.m., in the funeral home. A prayer service will take place at 4:30p.m., with Reverend Timothy Hare, Pastor, officiating. Visitors are asked to wear masks and social distance as they walk through, pay their respects, and exit in a timely manner to ensure all guests can come through the building.
