Jeffery "Jeff" Burke (June 22, 1955 - February 10, 2022)

Jeffery Joseph Burke, age 66, of Bridgeport, CT, passed away on Thursday, February 10, 2022.

Jeff is survived by his partner Leila, their four children, Veronica, Jared, Rebekah, and Savannah, his older brother and sister, Timothy and Christine, and younger sister Susan. He is also survived by his Aunt Joan in New Hampshire, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins who will sorely miss his positivity.

He joins his parents Walter and Ethel, and his youngest brother Kerry in heaven.

Jeff spent his early years growing up in the idyllic woods of New Preston, CT. After moving to Bridgeport, CT he graduated from Central High School and found his calling as a paramedic, eventually taking a job in NYC where he touched tens of thousands of lives during his 30+ years of service. He loved the outdoors, fishing, his Chevy Astro Van, the Yankees, good conversation, good beer, and good food! Most of all, he loved his friends and his family.

Funeral services will be held Monday, February 28, 2022 at 10:00a.m., meeting directly in St. Patrick's Church, Bridgeport, with a Mass of Christian Burial. Everyone is welcome to attend. Burial will be private at a later date. Friends may call Sunday from 12 pm to 3 pm, on Sunday, February 27, in the Redgate - Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull.
