John Anthony Picarazzi, Jr.

John Anthony Picarazzi, Jr. age 37 of Monroe, beloved husband of Filomena DiLeo Picarazzi died suddenly on Saturday, December 4, 2021. 

A lifelong resident of Monroe, John had a very strong work ethic and he achieved more in his 37 years than most people do in their full lifetime. He enjoyed and was committed to Victory Auto Sales with his father and newly committed to J&J Property Management. 

One of his joys was spending time with his dogs, his best buds, Marek and Mason who would be with him most days. When not working he spent time enjoyingsnowmobiling, wakeboarding, motorcycling and taking trips to New Hampshire with his wife and dogs. He enjoyed spending days boating with friends on Lake Wyassup and Candlewood and traveled with friends to Lake George making many memories. 

He loved his family and friends and was always making people laugh when making pizzas in his backyard for all. Although he was sometimes quiet, his bright smile and the sound of his laughter brightened up any room. Being from a large Italian family, John is survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He is survived by his parents, John and Deborah Picarazzi brother Matthew, sister Chelsea,  grandmother, Rose Picarazzi, in laws Rosa and Carmine Dileo, sister-in-law Carmela and husband Michael, nephew Joey and niece Mila.

Friends may call Thursday 4-8pm in Redgate-Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull, CT. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in John’s memory to the American Heart Association (www.heart.org) or to the National Kidney Foundation (www.kidney.org)
