Julia was my three children's Kindergarten teacher and their favorite teacher. She had excellent right-on-the-money warm-hearted descriptions of each of them for us oblivious parents. She always made us smile. She was still at Stepney when I became the school nurse there, and then she became MY favorite teacher. I saw her only a couple of times after her retirement and I hope I was able to convey even a little, my vast appreciation of her and my esteem for her in general. As a teacher, she will be missed. As a wonderful giving person, she will be missed even more.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Miss Stadler was an amazing person who has been an inspiration to so many. She is a big reason I am a teacher today. She retired the year I started teaching and I remember having wonderful conversations and loving every minute listening to her stories and wisdom. She will be missed, but she continues to touch the lives of many through her students. Love you Miss Stadler!

I was a teacher in Monroe for many years and loved Julie. I also had her sister, Dorothy for 7th grade math. I eventually became a math teacher in Monroe for 35 years. She was one of the nicest people I have ever met, soft spoken, kind and everyone loved her. Rest in Peace,Julie. You were loved by many.

40 some odd years, I don't remember most of my teachers names - but I will always remember Miss Stadler! Thank you to her family for sharing her with the children of Monroe! She touched many of us and we ere lucky to have her.

To All - We extend our sympathy to you on the passing of Julia. She was the Kindergarten teacher for both Kate and Betsy Keegan and was so loved. As you said she made everyone "feel special". We feel privileged to have known her.

Julie Stadler was my first grade teacher at Stepney elementary school. I LOVED her!! What a wonderful first experience of elementary school. I was also so excited that her name was like mine, since there were not many "Julie's" at that time. I have thought of her fondly over the years. I wish I knew that she was in Trumbull, I would have definitely gone to see her. I am a teacher too and just retired last June. I am so thankful that she was my teacher. May that wonderful woman rest in peace.

Julie was a wonderful friend and neighbor of ours for many years in Trumbull. We had many wonderful "driveway chats" and she would often be seen coming across the street to sit on our front porch with us and catch up on life. She loved our dogs Abbey and Cowboy and they always greeted her with enthusiasm and wagging tales. She had a kind heart, a quit wit and a wonderful sense of humor.

Julie was like part of the family for so many years, attending our annual Memorial Day picnics and kick ball games in the back yard and even family birthdays! She will be missed by all those who knew and loved her. A kind and wonderful spirit has left us. Rest in peace Julie.
