Kathleen C. Colgan Kelley, age 79 of Trumbull, beloved wife of the late Charles H. Kelley, passed away Thursday, June 15, 2017 in St. Vincent’s Medical Center. Kathleen was born in Bridgeport and was daughter of the late Stephen D. and Kathleen V. Curran Colgan. She lived in this area most of her life aside from several moves because of her husband’s career with General Electric. Kathleen attended St. Mary’s Dominican School, New Haven and graduated from Bassick High School, Bridgeport.  Survivors include her devoted sons Thomas J. Kelley and wife Susan of Shrewsbury, VT, Stephen D. Kelley and wife Van of North Haven, and David C. Kelley of Bridgeport, three grandchildren Thomas, Crystal and Shannon, three nieces Victoria, Jacqueline, and Christine, and her canine companion, Wallie. She was predeceased by her brother John (Jack) Colgan. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10:00a.m., from the Redgate – Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull, and at 10:30a.m., in St. Theresa Church, 5301 Main Street, Trumbull, with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call Tuesday morning from 9:00a.m. to 10:00a.m., in the funeral home.
