Louis K. Alessio, age 74 of Trumbull, CT, beloved husband of Patricia Liberati Alessio, passed away Wednesday, October 11, 2017 in St. Vincent’s Medical Center, surrounded by his family. Louis was born in East Harlem, New York, son of the late Louis and Flora Lurgio Alessio. Before retiring he operated The Alessio Group (TAG), a market research company. Louis graduated from Fordham University and had an MBA from Iona College.  Prior to forming his own company, he worked for The Marketing Corporation of America, Izod, Chesebrough Ponds, Shell Oil, and the former New York Central Railroad (where he met Pat). Louis and Pat recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in September. Survivors, in addition to his wife Pat, include his devoted daughter Allison Alessio Taylor and husband Matthew of Shelton, cherished grandson Jack Ryan Taylor, sister Margaret “Bubby” Spadotto, niece Charlene Allen, Brother-in-law Ernie and wife Cheryl Liberati, and nieces AnnaMarie, Christina, and Adrienne Liberati. Friends may call Sunday from 2:00pm to 5:00pm in the Redgate – Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull, a short prayer service will take place at 2:00pm.
