Louis George Weisenbacher III, age 70 of Beacon Falls, CT and Myrtle Beach, SC passed away Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at St. Vincent’s Medical Center. He was the beloved husband of Virginia Frank Weisenbacher. Born in Danbury, raised in New Milford and Seymour, he was the son of the late Louis and Elizabeth Lynch Weisenbacher. Louis was a United States Army Veteran serving during the Vietnam War as a 101st Airborne Division Screaming Eagle. He was employed by the State of Connecticut for 34 years at Southbury Training School. Louis was an avid fisherman, hunter and golfer. In retirement he enjoyed exploring America with Ginny and Ginger in their RV, riding his Harley, playing golf in Myrtle Beach and spending time with his grandson, Alex. Survivors include his loving son Louis G. Weisenbacher IV and wife Caryn of Beacon Falls, a grandson Alex, a sister Cheryl Cowan and husband Ron of Belfast, ME, two nephews Ryan Cowan and wife Sarah and their children Molly and Wesley of Hampden, ME, and Ben Cowan of Belfast, ME. The family is hosting an open house celebration of life on Thursday, May 31 from 5:30 – 8:30 pm at T.H.C. The Hops Company, 77 Sodom Lane, Derby, 06418 (Parking location: 43 Marshall Lane).
