Madeline A. Onofreo Beers, age 79 of Naugatuck, beloved wife of the late Robert G. Beers, passed away Saturday, November 4, 2017. Madeline was born in Bridgeport, daughter of the late Anthony and Rose Esposito Onofreo and was a lifelong area resident. She was a retired 911 dispatcher for the City of Bridgeport. Survivors include her devoted daughters Laura Reilly and Sharon Turner both of Naugatuck, four cherished grandchildren Michelle Proto, Nicole Reilly, Frank Turner, and Alicia Turner, four great grandchildren Gianni, Peyton, Mia, and Frankie, a brother John Onofreo and wife Betty of Trumbull, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a grandson Joseph Reilly, a brother and sister Mark Onofreo and Eleanor Greatsinger. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10:15a.m., from the Redgate – Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull, and at 11:00a.m., in St. Andrew Church, Bridgeport, with a Mass of Christian Burial.
