Marcia Rosemarie Richards

Marcia Rosemarie Richards, age 60, passed away peacefully on Sunday February 16, 2020, surrounded by her family.  Marcia was born on June 29, 1959, in Port Antonio, Jamaica to Carmen Taylor and Roy Richards.  She was a graduate of Tichfield High School, where she graduated with high honors. After graduating, Marcia started working at Fellowship Hall Age School, where she was loved and respected by all her colleagues and students. Marcia was giving a scholarship to attend college in Santiago de Cuba.  She received her Bachelor's degree in Physical Education and Spanish in 1982.  Due to Marcia's years in college, she became very fluent in Spanish. Marcia migrated to the US in May 1985 where she spent most of her life. She worked at Union Trust Bank, Stew Leonard's Wachovia Bank and Prudential. She had an uncanny ability to make friends with everyone she met. She is survived by her parents; Carmen Taylor and Roy Richards, brothers; Errol Bowen (Shawnita), Eugene Richards, and Dwight Richards (Angela) and a sister Marlene Bourne (Milton). Nieces; Samantha Stone, Ava Stone, Brittney Bourne, Brianna Bourne, Simone Bowen, Tiffanie Richards, Kerry-Ann Richards, Sophia Richards, Kiara Richards Aliyah Bowen and Siara Richards. Nephews; Dwayne Bowen (Andrea), Dwight Richards, Jr, Nidus Richards, Uriah Bowen and Christian Oyola; and many other family and friends to cherish her memories. Marcia frequently volunteered her time with Donate Life New England, where she spoke about the importance of organ donation, as she was a recipient of a kidney transplant. Marcia was loved by who met her and will be sadly missed.
