Nicholas R. Iacurci

Nicholas R. Iacurci, age 34 of Stratford, passed away Saturday, January 26, 2019 in Bridgeport Hospital. Nicholas was born on January 22, 1985 in Bridgeport, loving son of Deborah Troha and Robert L. Iacurci of Stratford and graduated from Platt Technical High School, class of 2003. He proudly served in the Army Reserve Military Police, serving in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Italy. He was employed as a driver for O&G Industries and was a member of Teamsters Local 191. Nicholas was an avid body builder. Additional survivors include his cherished daughter Viviana and her mother Katie McMellon of Stratford, his sister Jennifer Barrett and husband Michael of East Haven, an aunt Beth Ann Iacurci and paternal grandfather Dominic Iacurci, both of Bridgeport, a nephew Michael Barrett and aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was predeceased by his paternal grandmother Ann Iacurci and maternal grandparents Roland and Irene Pagnozzi. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11:00a.m., meeting directly in St. Andrew Church, 435 Anton Street, Bridgeport, with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment with full military honors will take place at the convenience of the family. Friends may call Friday from 4:00p.m. to 8:00p.m., in the Redgate – Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull.
