Paul Lovar

Paul Lovar died on June 12, 2023, in Littlestown, Pennsylvania. He was 68. Paul was born in Pennsylvania on April 12, 1955 to his parents, John and Ethel Lovar. Not long after, he moved to, and was raised in, Bridgeport, CT. He married his wife, Marge, on May 26, 1978; they just celebrated 45 years together this past May. Paul worked diligently for decades in the local cemeteries as his own boss, and had the utmost respect for and from the people he served. He recently retired; his enjoyments included visiting the casinos, Disney, and time with his family. Paul is survived by his wife, Marjory (Bond) Lovar; his siblings, Rose Kurimai, Ethel Sperber, Janet Presto, Steve Lovar, and Sharon Golden; his three sons, John Paul Lovar (Kelly Gamache), Robert Thomas Lovar (Tina), and David Charles Lovar (Amanda Martin), and his 8 grandchildren of whom he was very proud: Megan Elizabeth Lovar (19), Abigail Jane Lovar (17), Kasey Michelle Lovar (15); Isabella (5), Rebecca (3), Benjamin (11 months); and Thomas Charles Lovar (7) and William Paul Lovar (3). Paul is preceded in death by his parents, and siblings John, Donald, Michael, Charles, and Shirley. Paul will be remembered for his loyalty to family and friends, his common sense, his humor, his devotion to his wife, and his camaraderie with his grandkids. Calling will be held Friday, August 25, from 3:00p.m. to 5:00p.m., with a prayer service at 5:00p.m., in the Redgate - Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull.
