Priscilla Idel Larkin Bromley died on April 20, 2020 at Crosby Commons Senior Living Facility. Born in Leominster, MA on August 28,1926, daughter of the late Ralph Walter and Vera Lamb Larkin. She was the widow of Richard I. Bromley, deceased in 1996.
She graduated from the Memorial Hospital School of Nursing in Worcester, MA, was a member of the World War II Nurse Corps, and a graduate of Charter Oak College. She worked at local hospitals and retired from the Greater Bridgeport Mental Health Center. She was a member of the Professional Nurse League, the Fairfield Square Dance Club, Charter Member of Fairfield Grace Methodist Church, member of United Methodist Church of Monroe, volunteer at the American Red Cross Blood Bank and a member of the Monroe Senior Center Quilting Club.
She leaves, with many blessings and love, daughters Helmi Bromley Zarookian of Fairfield, CT, Heidi Bromley Curry of Clinton, CT; sons, Donald C. Bromley of Albany, NY and Duncan W. Bromley of Fairfield, CT; sisters Marilyn L. Carter and the late Sylvia L. Turchin, both of Leominster MA. She has fourteen wonderful grandchildren: Addie J. Burt, Rebecca J. Pleckatis, Melissa Desjardins, Rachael Brick, Cheri B. Silverberg, Thomas J. Bromley, Katie A Bromley, Timothy C. Bromley, Emily I. Zarookian, Molly B. Zarookian, Zachary A. Zarookian, Ian W. Bromley, Megan B. Manion, Sarah B. McDevitt and 21 great-grandchildren Richard Beres, TCody Brick, Abby Pleckatis, Adam Pleckatis, Keira Manion, Audrey Manion, Ingrid Bromley, George Bromley, Samantha Bromley, Atticus Bromley, Tobias Bromley, Althea Bromley, Morgan Silverberg, Milina Silverberg, Hartley Silverberg, Jaxson Bromley, Sawyer Bromley, Thomas Fralich, Lillian Fralich, Ryley Desjardins and Avery Desjardins and many nieces and nephews.
A small graveside service will be held at Oak Lawn Cemetery in Fairfield CT where she will be laid to rest next to her husband Richard. A memorial service is to be planned for later in the year.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the American Red Cross of Bridgeport.
