Robert Iacurci

Robert L lacurci, age 69 of Stratford, passed away suddenly at his home on January 25, 2024. Bob was born in Bridgeport on November 24, 1954 and was the son of the late Dominic and Ann Benchiak lacurci. He was predeceased in 2019 by his beloved son Nicholas R. lacurci. He is survived by his loving daughter Jennifer ,lacurci Barrett and her husband Michael Barrett Jr. of East Haven. Bob is also survived by his cherished grandchildren Michael Barrett Ill (Jennifer and Michael) and Viviana lacurci (Nicholas) of Stratford, as well as his brother David lacurci of Bridgeport. Bob attended Notre Dame Boys High School in Fairfield and Central High School in Bridgeport. He was a Vietnam Era veteran and retired from Textron Lycoming as a member of LIUNA Local 655. Bob had many friends as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, who were near and dear to him. Special mention is to be made to Gloria Julian Figerle, who he greatly enjoyed connecting with later in life. Longtime friends, Mary Beth, Ryan and Kevin Watson will greatly miss Bob and his 'pearls of wisdom' that he was known to share. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Andrew's Church 435 Anton St. in Bridgeport on March 6, 2024 at 10:00 AM. A private interment will follow.
